Isimat-Mirin makes PSV loan permanent

PSV have wrapped up the signing of Monaco defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin on a four-year contract.

The former France youth international spent last season on loan at Philips Stadion, helping PSV to a first Eredivisie title since 2008.

I m pleased with all the responses from the fans since the championship and the party, he told PSV TV.  I am very happy that I can finally play [permanently] at PSV, a  big club with great fans. 

I want to make every effort to continue last year s success.

Tottenham open to selling Emerson Royal

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is open to selling Emerson Royal, according to . The report has claimed that Conte wants a right  wing-back who is more comfortable going forward than Emerson.

Emerson joined Tottenham from Barcelona in the summer of 2021 for £22 million. The 23-year-old made  in the Premier League for Tottenham last season. The Tottenham no. 13 scored one goal and gave one assist in those games. Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham ended the 2021-22 Premier League season in fourth place with 71 points from 38 matches and will play in the UEFA Champions League in 2022-23.

Victor Anichebe s double was enough to send West Brom through to the FA Cup fifth round as they overcame Birmingham City 2-1 at St Andrew s.

Guardiola´s Bayern future could be decided by Christmas

Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed Bayern Munich will meet with head coach Pep Guardiola to discuss his future at the start of the Bundesliga s winter break and says a decision could be made by Christmas.

The 44-year-old s existing contract with Bayern is due to expire at the end of the 2015-16 campaign and he has so far been reluctant to discuss his long-term future.

Nevertheless, Rummenigge has now suggested Guardiola s future could be clear by the end of the calendar year.

I am relaxed and so is the coach. We will have a conversation after the last game of the first half of the season, Rummenigge told the official Bayern website.

I will not take a penalty, says Mascherano

Javier Mascherano is not concerned by his goal drought and insists he refuses to take a penalty just to break it. 

Mascherano has not scored a goal for Barcelona in over 200 competitive appearances since joining the club in 2010.

The Argentina international has not found the net in club football since March 2008 when he was playing for Liverpool in a 2-1 Premier League win over Reading.

Mourinho settles tax case in Spain

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he has paid to settle accusations of tax fraud in Spain.

The 54-year-old attended court in Pozuelo de Alcarcon on Friday to answer charges of tax fraud totalling €3.3million, which he has always denied.

Speaking to reporters after the hearing, Mourinho said the case is closed and that he only attended to settle the matter.

Dortmund captain Hummels completes Bayern switch

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels.

Germany defender Hummels has agreed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions and will re-join them on July 1 for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical.

Dortmund announced late last month that their skipper had informed them of his desire to follow the path of Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski by swapping Signal Iduna Park for the Allianz Arena.

And both sides confirmed on Tuesday that the deal has been done, with Hummels to return to his boyhood club, who he left for Dortmund in 2008.
