I came, I saw, I conquered, now go back to baseball – Ibrahimovic confirms LA Galaxy exit

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left LA Galaxy after making a typically grandiose statement on Wednesday, telling MLS fans they can go back to watching baseball now that he will be leaving.

Ibrahimovic joined Galaxy in March 2018 after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer and went on to cause a stir in MLS, scoring 53 goals in 58 matches.

Over the course of his career, the 38-year-old established a reputation as an outspoken and extremely confident individual and there is little doubt the Swede s personality left a mark on football in the United States.

From criticising his own team to claiming he was happy for Toronto because they ll be remembered as my 500th victim after scoring his 500th career goal, Ibrahimovic s charisma often had him making headlines.<…

Noah Okafor grabs late winner as AC Milan edge past eight-man Lazio

Lazio had three players sent off as Noah Okafor’s late goal secured a 1-0 win for AC Milan in a chaotic match at the Stadio Olimpico.

Milan grabbed their first win in four matches, a run which has seen their already faint hopes of a title challenge completely fade away, when substitute Okafor finally broke the deadlock three minutes from time.

The match turned in their favour when Lazio’s Luca Pellegrini needlessly got himself sent off with over half an hour still to play.

Beckham´s Inter Miami fined $2m after MLS inquiry over Matuidi signing

Inter Miami have been hit with a record $2million fine and other sanctions after violating MLS roster and salary rules following the signing of France international midfielder Blaise Matuidi.

Co-owned by former Manchester United, England and Real Madrid star David Beckham, Inter Miami lured Matuidi from Serie A champions Juventus to the United States for their inaugural season in 2020 – the World Cup-winning star teaming up with Gonzalo Higuain after the club used targeted allocation money (TAM).

But MLS deemed Inter Miami were not roster compliant in March – meaning the team effectively had four designated players last season rather than the three allowed.

Following an extensive investigation on Friday, Inter Miami s violations were found to include the inco…

Arsenal turned down Fabregas option

Cesc Fabregas has revealed Arsenal rejected their option to re-sign the midfielder from Barcelona following his move to Chelsea.

It was announced on Thursday that the Spain international had put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

The move brings to an end his three-year stint at Camp Nou, whom he joined from Arsenal in 2011.

In a statement released on his official Facebook page, Fabregas confirmed that Arsenal had the option to re-sign him from the Catalan giants, but chose not to trigger that clause.

Instead Fabregas signed a long-term contract at Chelsea, one of Arsenal s direct rivals in domestic and European football.

Yes, everyone knows that Arsenal had the first option to sign me, he said.

They decided not to take this option a…

UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid 3 Schalke 1 (9-2 agg)

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Real Madrid beat Schalke 3-1 on Tuesday to seal their place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The prolific Portugal captain took his goal tally for the La Liga leaders to 41 for the season and 13 in the Champions League in 2013-14 as Carlo Ancelotti s side coasted to a 9-2 aggregate victory.

The tie was settled in the first leg in Gelsenkirchen a fortnight ago, when Ronaldo also scored twice as Real hammered the Bundesliga side 6-1 to put one foot in the last eight and Ancelotti s men finished off the job at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo opened the scoring and restored Real s lead 16 minutes from time after Tim Hoogland finally opened his Schalke account and scored his first goal since January 2010 to equalise before the break.

Salah: I rejected Liverpool for Mourinho

Roma winger Mohamed Salah has revealed he was close to leaving Basel for Liverpool in January 2014, but he eventually chose Chelsea after a phone call with Jose Mourinho.

Negotiations between Liverpool and Basel had apparently been taking place for some time, with Salah keen to make the move to Anfield, only for Chelsea to swoop and lure him to Stamford Bridge instead.

Liverpool had wanted me for a number of months. They had opened talks in October 2013, Salah told MBC Masr.

Negotiations took a long time, because Basel rejected more than one offer. They felt the transfer fee was not that high. I was waiting for Liverpool [to agree terms with Basel] because I really like Liverpool. I was eager to join them.

But then I received a phone call from Mourinho…

Manchester United in for Dier

Manchester United are readying a bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier, according to the Mirror.

The twenty-three year old only penned a new contract with the North London outfit back in September though Jose Mourinho is keen to do a deal, and is set to lodge a bid of £40m.

Dier moved to White Hart Lane from Sporting Lisbon in August 2014, though since last summer he has been battling with Victor Wanyama for a starting berth.

Since signing for Spurs, the England international has racked up one hundred and thirty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals.

He has been capped seventeen times for the Three Lions, and scored both of his international goals so far last year, first in a 3-2 friendly win over Germany last March and …

Gran Turismo Creator Is Considering Bringing The Franchise To PC

The Gran Turismo franchise could be coming to the PC platform in the future, which would follow decades of PlayStation exclusivity.

In an interview with GTPlanet, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi says that he would consider bringing the racing game over to PC. “Gran Turismo is a very finely tuned title,” Yamauchi explains. “There are not many platforms which could run the game in 4K/60 natively, so one way we make that possible is to narrow down the platform. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course, we are looking into it and considering it.” Come from Sports betting site VPbet

TOP STORY – SOLSKJAER WANTED AT THE WHEEL
